Standard weld cell serves as entry point
into automated welding
Acieta has introduced FastARC standard weld cells. They are pre-engi-neered with integrated utilities and a
one-piece platform for fast delivery
and startup, says the company.
The ready-to-use package is designed to meet the industry’s most
common robotic welding needs. Four standard cells are available with attachments and upgrade options. They come standard with Lincoln Electric
or Miller weld equipment.
The Single Zone Cell o;ers a large work zone and automated steel pop-up door for flash protection and operator safety. The Dual Zone Cell allows
for load/unload while the robot is welding, as well as the ability to produce
di;erent parts simultaneously.
3D CAD software simplifies imported and
IronCAD has released its 20th anniversary edition, IronCAD Design Collaboration Suite 2019,
for large assembly designs and work flows common among machinery manufacturers.
The new release extends the software’s
Shrinkwrap capability to simplify imported and
native models and gives users the ability to dynamically load the simplified
or full versions based on their preference. Users also employ this capability to hide selective parts, nonvisible parts, and hole and pocket regions
while forcing critical components to remain.
The new version features customizable rules, updated handle and TriBall® displays, quick sizing behaviors on input, direct input on drop o; features, improved dimensional display in sketches, and direct access to the
TriBall positioning tool.
Web-connected technology helps simplify dust, fume collection management
Donaldson Co. Inc. has introduced web-connected technology that monitors industrial dust, fume, and mist collectors and notifies owners to take
early, cost-saving maintenance actions.
The smart technology uses sensors and a controller to gather real-time
data from a collector, apply analytics in the cloud, and relay insights back
to the operator through a web-based dashboard and email or text alerts.
Proper maintenance such as timely filter changes and earlier hopper
cleaning can help prevent larger problems, assist in optimizing performance, and aid in reducing total dust and fume management costs over
time, the company reports.
The system can be installed on existing or new industrial dust and fume
