Eriez names Hareza Technical Sales
as 2018 Merwin Sales Award winner

nounced that Hareza Technical
Sales Inc. of McMurray, Pa., is the
recipient of the company’s 2018 Merwin Sales Award.
Hareza has represented Eriez since 2007 in western
Pennsylvania, western Maryland, and northern West
The annual Merwin Award—named for the company’s founding family— recognizes the U.S. field sales
office that represented Eriez in the most outstanding
way over the previous year by demonstrating exceptional sales performance and providing superb customer service and support.
Z Modular to open
Z Modular, a manufacturer of self-bracing structural systems for
modular buildings, has signed a 10-
year lease for a 222,000-sq.-ft. facility in Chandler, Ariz.
The division of Chicago-based
Zekelman Industries plans to invest
$17 million in the plant.
Alro Steel acquires
Alro Steel, a provider of cut-to-size
metals and plastics, has purchased
certain assets of Riverfront Steel, a
metal distributor in Cincinnati.
Alro Steel will operate from Riverfront’s 115,000-sq.-ft. facility.
Dalsin Industries named
Top 10 contract manufacturer
Dalsin Industries, Bloomington,
Minn., has been named a Top 10
contract manufacturer for medical
equipment manufacturing by Medi-
cal Technology Outlook in its Febru-
ary edition. The editors, who named
the company the Frontrunner in
Metal Fabrication, said, “Dalsin de-
livers unique metal manufacturing
services through a combination
of design-for-manufacture (DFM)
service, product design assistance,
high-velocity manufacturing pro-
cesses, and planning control.”
A provider of metal fabrication
services, the company recently be-
gan fabricating custom parts for
the medical equipment market.
Hydrapower wins lawsuit
against Toskar Makine
Hydrapower Intl. Inc., with headquarters in Marco Island, Fla., has
been awarded a judgment in its
favor against Toskar Makine Yedek
Parea Ymalet Ticaret Ve Sanayi
LTD. Pti. of Bursa, Turkey.
The Collier County Court of
Florida ruled in favor of of Hydrapower’s claim of fraud, deceptive trade practice, and breach of
warranty against Toskar Makine.
Hydrapower claimed that Toskar
Makine switched machines with
an incomplete, inferior model that
was shipped even though Toskar
knew it would not work, and that
Toskar refused to supply the correct machine and would not finish
it or replace it as represented in the
