Prima Power offers the new Shear
Brilliance punching and shearing
cell, constructed with the latest
composite materials, servo-electric technology, and linear drives to
achieve high productivity in versatile and flexible fabrication.
The machine features linear drive technology for fast sheet
positioning. With long travel of the 4,070-mm coordinate ta-
ble, the full 3,100-mm working area for punching and shearing
can be used without repositioning. The sheets are pre-posi-
tioned during machine operation to help reduce loading time.
The 1,300-HPM punching speed helps add to the productivity. The machine offers a 24- or 30-station turret to help minimize setup time and maximize tool quantity in a single setup.
Tool sizes can be chosen by the user.
Up to 35 tons of servo-electric ram force—the highest available in servo-electric punching, according to the company—
allows complex contours, using one hit instead of two.

technologies designed to “boost your
business.” The company has introduced
flexible automation concepts for the
TruLaser 2030 fiber, the TruLaser 5030
fiber with an 8-kW laser, and the latest technology options in laser cutting,
which the company says it has developed to boost productivity.

Using a beveling torch rather than
manual processing, the machine helps
reduce the need for labor from skilled
fitters who manually bevel via track
torch or by hand. Automated processing helps deliver high-quality cuts,
consistent bevel angles with CNC precision, and faster welding because of the
reduced prep work required, the company states.
The machine features a high-speed
plasma and oxyfuel cutting beveling
torch for versatile plate processing.
Both bevel cutting options save space
by sharing a centralized, single-cutting
assembly; they can be positioned at
angles up to 45 degrees.
