Fold complex parts up or down without flipping the material.
UpDownBend Folding System
No more struggling with large, awkward, complicated parts. The RAS 78 Series
UpDownBend folds flanges up or down with material thicknesses up to 9-gauge mild
steel, boxes up to 12” deep and 126” in length*. The operator positions the part on
the sheet support system and against the gauging fingers. By activating the foot
pedal, the machine folds the flange, up or down, to the programmed dimension.
When one side is finished the part is positioned to the next side and the folding
process is repeated. With this machine, a robotic loading system is available. Simple,
fast, accurate and very safe for the operator, what more could you ask for? Call us for
a free cd or come and visit our showroom and see the machine fold your parts.
*In May of 2009 a 4-meter 159” long machine will be available.
