Coil handling systems

Oberg Industries offers its second-generation Die Automation Controller (DAC-2450) for progressive interlocking stamping dies.

The system can control up to eight individual stacks and has remote online connectivity. A touchscreen display allows operators to make changes and monitor process controls. It also is password-protected to give administrators greater control over user access. The die controller is modular and features a compact design.

Mechanical punch stripper

The True Strip die spring-actuated mechanical punch stripper from Moeller Mfg. Co. fits directly onto industry-standard retainers with one screw and complies with NAAMS specifications.

According to the company, the unit’s stripper is guided not only by the land of the steel, but also by the head on the stripper. This feature creates a dual-guided condition, adds stability for side loads, and may prolong tool life.

The stripper can pierce and strip a

variety of materials to 2 mm thick, and its design allows all stripping forces to be isolated in the unit’s body so that no forces transfer to any outside component.
